Looking out in the mornings... That beautiful tree to the left of the barn, by the way, is the cherry tree I just murdered in cold blood :( |
Looking out the back door, there's about 3/4 of an acre or so that's dog area; beyond that is about 2 acres of horse area (and the barn is off to the right). |
Tessa and Galahad *really* want to play with the horses. They express this desire quite loudly, running up and down the shared dog/horse fenceline. The horses are getting blase'. (thank goodness) |
It's so good to see them on green grass. Even if they are getting fat. They started on a diet yesterday. |
They're both wearing their halters in these pics because I put them temporarily in the dog area. I want them to be comfortable in there so maybe I can put one in there and ride in the horse field--it's a pain having one trotting around behind while I'm riding the other. Besides, the grass needs cutting ;) |
Tubby (George) is losing some weight and is a lot more active. |
He's the only one who doesn't try to chase the horses; he's much more interested in the people. |
It's been a long time since I've seen him this playful :) |
